Verizon Wireless Arena is an indoor arena located in the city of Manchester in the state of New Hampshire. For concerts, the arena could receive 11,770 fans, and for basketball it has a capacity of 11,140 seats, while the ice hockey attendance could reach 9,852. The naming rights of the arena were bought by the Verizon Wireless.

When it was just opened, Verizon Wireless used to be called Civic Arena. The curved roof of the arena is put in order to help slide off the heavy snow fall of the state. And to exhibit the skyline to viewers, the north and south facades of the arena are made of glass. The arena is consisted of 542 club seats, and its luxury suites are 34, while it has 5 party suites.

The AHL team Manchester Monarchs takes the arena as home to its games. The arena used to be home to the af2 team Manchester Wolves. The collegiate basketball team of University of New Hampshire plays some of its games in the arena. In 2005, the All-Star Game of AHL appeared in the arena and the same year the arena witnessed the organization of the WWE backlash. In the years 2004, 07, 09, 11 the Northeast Regional tournament of the NCAA Frozen Four was held in the arena.

In 2013, the arena hosted the Northeast Regional tournament of ice hockey UNH. Also, State high school championships of both hockey and basketball have taken place in the arena. The NBA team Boston Celtics as well as the NHL team Boston Bruins often play their preseason games at the arena. Over its history, the arena has hosted several concerts of big artists. In addition, the arena hosted political events such as the appearance of Oprah Winfrey and Senator Barack Obama appeared in a campaign at the arena in December 2007.
